Joint Degree Program in Law, Health & the Life Sciences
The Joint Degree Program recruits and trains students combining a law
degree with a graduate or professional degree relating to health,
environment, or the life sciences. The Program spans 8 colleges and
involves approximately 400 faculty members. The Program co-sponsors a
wide range of events with the Consortium to foster work on the societal
implications of the life sciences. The Joint Degree Program is directed
by Prof. Susan Wolf, Faegre & Benson Professor of Law, Professor of
Medicine, and faculty member in the Center of Bioethics. Prof. William A. Toscano, Jr., Director of the Center for Environment & Health Policy and Professor of Molecular Toxicology, is the Associate Director. Colin Campbell, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Pharmacology, serves as Proseminar Course Coordinator.
