BioMedical Genomics Center

The BioMedical Genomics Center was created as a part of the University of Minnesota Genomics Initiative to advance genomics research as it applies to human and animal health and to foster intercollegiate programs. Prof. Kenny Beckman, PhD, is the center's new Director. Under Dr. Beckman's direction, the BMGC plans a major expansion of services into applications such as epigenomics, genomic rearrangements (array CGH), microRNAs, sequence capture for sequencing, and other emerging technologies.
