Center for Science, Technology, & Public Policy

The Center for Science, Technology, & Public Policy fosters understanding of the role of science and technology in our society, especially in relation to economic growth, health, the environment, education, and national security. The Center provides a forum for examining the effects of science and technology on society and on the political and economic relationships among nations. To policymakers and the public, the Center recommends government policies and institutions that would promote appropriate research and development regionally, nationally, and internationally. The Center also supports research and teaching in the Humphrey Institute's MS degree in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy. Professor Steve Kelley is Senior Fellow and Director.
