The Consortium does not actively compile transactional or clickstream data, except for such records as may be incidentally generated in the normal operation of our web servers. We do offer opportunities for users of our web site to volunteer personal contact information, which we use to keep them informed of the activities of the Consortium and its academic partners. We do not sell or trade such contact information to entities outside the Consortium and affiliated academic units at the University of Minnesota. We will remove from our contact list names previously volunteered upon the individual's written request to do so.
The University of Minnesota is a state institution and so is subject to Minnesota's open records law. Some of the electronic records we create may be subject to reasonable public inspection under this law. The University of Minnesota complies with federal requirements regarding the privacy of student records.
